The task aims to attract five experts, specifically two experts (engineer-) architects for the project follow-up of the construction of sports infrastructure, an expert engineer techniques for the construction and maintenance of the technical installations, an expert REVIT/BIM/FMIS for the maintenance of sports infrastructure and an expert fire safety for the maintenance of sports infrastructure.

Sport Vlaanderen has 13 centers with sports infrastructure throughout Flanders. In implementation of the 2020 vision note, Sport Vlaanderen has the intention to develop the own centres of Sport Vlaanderen into centers of excellence. More specifically, it is about the fire safety requirements and applications in the sports infrastructure and sports facilities. The expert draws up the fire safety policy and draws the files of the fire protection installation work and does the coordination for the implementation and the necessary permits and attestations. The expert thinks from the laws and regulations, but also from risk analysis and the physical characteristics of fire. He also proposes a system for permanent follow-up of fire safety files within the centres.
