Supply and commissioning of a BIO-IT system for genome analysis
The system is indented for high throughput next generation sequencing analysis including whole genome, whole exome, RNA sequencing, epigenome and microbiome.
The platform must be able to analyse a whole human genome (assembly, variant calling) with minimum 30x coverage within 30 minutes.
The system must be able to process various genome input file formats such as FASTQ, Illumina BCL files.
The platform must be easily integrated into the existing High-Performance Computing (HPC) system of the University of Luxembourg.
The platform needs to support multiple sample calling and outputs gVCF format.
The platform should provide highly compressed output files and be able to handle compressed genome input files.
The system should be easy to manage via functional graphical user interface (GUI), use less power and require not more than 2U physical space in a standard server rack.
