Ammunition. 1. The UK MOD has a requirement for 155 mm Smoke and/or Illuminating ammunition and is seeking to procure a Commercial/Military Off the Shelf (MOTS/COTS) solution which is Joint Ballistics Memorandum Of Understanding (JBMOU) compliant and of a Technology Readiness Level of at least 8.

2. Assuming successful completion of the Qualification programme, the UK MOD, may subsequently wish to procure 155 mm Smoke and/or illuminating ammunition; for planning purposes the Qualification programme is expected to take place between approximately May 2015 and February 2017.

3. A System Requirements Document (SRD) will be issued to those companies which are selected to proceed to the Invitation to Tender Stage.
