AZ Herentals acts for this assignment as a central purchasing body within the meaning of article 47 §2 and article 129 of the law of 17.6.2016. This means that AZ Herentals will act on behalf of the various contracting authorities for this contract in the capacity of contracting authority. The central purchasing body will apply the public procurement procedure according to the instructions and in the name and on behalf of the relevant contracting authorities.
At the end of the procedure, the central purchasing body will award the public contract if consensus has been reached by the contracting authorities. After the award has ended, the contracting authorities themselves must conclude an agreement with the contracting party to whom the public contract was awarded.
The central purchasing body is responsible for the placement and conclusion of the current contract in order to meet its own needs as well as those of other contracting authorities referred to below:
The following entities are potential customers of this supply order:
- hospital Geel,
- Mol hospital,
- Turnhout hospital,
- Herentals hospital.
Where appropriate, orders are placed directly by these customers with the suppliers.
Once one of the customers has placed an order, this customer is also responsible for directing and supervising the assignment (within the meaning of Article 1 of the general contracting conditions) and the general follow-up of the order and further application of the specifications. and the general and special contracting conditions.
The delivery and invoicing also goes directly to these customers. The necessary information will be provided to the supplier in due time.
The hospital acting as the purchasing center is in no way liable for the content and handling of the orders of the other buyers.
The lead officer of the central purchasing body is the contact person for all important correspondence concerning the course of the procedure.
For this assignment, the client wishes to proceed to a framework agreement for the duration of 48 months.
