Procurement of a new PACS system to replace the existing solution

"Gesundheit Nord gGmbH (GeNo) is striving to establish a state-of-the-art and effective information system in the hospital network on the basis of the Hospital Future Act (KHZG).

The overall system should form an integrative solution with the existing or possibly to be integrated IT systems.

The aim of this call for proposals is to extend the image archiving and communication system (PACS) currently used in radiological areas to all non-radiological areas.

A radiology information system (RIS) already exists in-house, which uses the functions of the existing HIS i.s.h.med. This RIS functionality is not intended to be superseded. In the event of a new procurement of the PACS product tendered here, the first step is to replace the previous installation 1:1. Nevertheless, a connection to i.s.h.med as well as a data migration is planned. Subsequently, a gradual expansion of the overall solution to all non-radiological areas is envisaged."
