Extension of the Paul-Maar-Schule open-air facilities

Extension of the Paul-Maar-Schule in 65439 Flörsheim am Main.

Dienstleistungsauftrag Objektplanung Freianlagen, § 39 HOAI

The services to be provided include the property planning outdoor facilities, Section 39 HOAI. It is intended to start with services of the service phases 1-3 according to § 39 u. Appendix 11 No. 11.1 HOAI to be awarded. The client reserves the right to provide the architect with the services of the service phases 4-9 according to § 39 u. Annex 11 No. 11.1 HOAI to be transferred. There is no legal claim to the transfer of these services.

Eligible costs (from cost group 500, DIN 276) according to § 38 HOAI approx. 1,454,377.39 EUR.

The Paul-Maar-Schule was built in 2000 as a 3-class primary school and in 2019 was supplemented by a temporary container facility with additional rooms for school and care. Currently, the 14 classes and 2 intensive classes can be accommodated as classrooms by using the library and the music room. The care of the school children is currently still located in the neighboring Ilse-Kahn-Haus of the city of Flörsheim, which will be needed by the city in the medium term for the expansion of the neighboring kindergarten.

On the school grounds is the old building, a sports hall and the Ilse Kahn House of the city of Flörsheim.

In an internal feasibility study, it was determined that a structural extension with approx. 1,900 m² HNF could create the necessary spatial capacities for a 4-speed and modern pedagogical school concept as well as 100% care at the site.

To compensate for the lack of space, an interim measure has already been taken on the site, which will be dismantled after completion of the extension.

The construction of the extension will take place during ongoing school operations, which must continue during the construction phase.

Due to the construction of the extension, the outer layers have to be restructured and built. The area of the interim measure is to be restored.

The extension is to be built and promoted using the passive house construction method. The standards of the Main-Taunus district must be observed and taken into account.

TGA:

The extension will have a single room control system for radiators and ventilation, which will be CO2 controlled. A central ventilation system with displacement outlets and heat recovery without circulating air is to be planned. Night-time cooling is also to be implemented.

The heat is generated as a connection to the existing system, which is located in the sports hall. In addition, a heat pump with exhaust air utilization is to be built. A new PV system will be installed on the roof of the extension building as well as on the roof of the sports hall as well as existing buildings and integrated into the existing grid. A cistern for flushing the toilet must be installed.

The classrooms will have washbasins.
