To provide a community vasectomy service for patients registered with a Leeds GP Practice. The service will deliver an innovative, high quality, efficient service closer to patients home.

The service will:

— Offer patients a choice of locations and appointment times, ensuring equitable timely and appropriate access;

— Ensure that patients are seen and treated in a safe environment, most appropriate to their care needs;

— Provide best value for money, delivering effective and sustainable use of resources.

Local defined outcomes:

a) Low Surgical infection rates;

b) Low Complication rates;

c) Reduction in Sterilisation Failure rates;

d) Patients seen and treated within the NHS Constitution timescales i.e. within 18 weeks of referral.
