The city of Wesseling is planning to have the new building of the grammar school with an extended three-way system built on a turnkey basis as part of an overall award. On the basis of the functional construction specification with space program, the contractor must provide all necessary planning and construction services, interim construction financing and maintenance for the new building within the extended warranty period, including the adjustment of the technical systems. For this purpose, the client shall conduct a negotiated procedure with a participation competition in accordance with § 3a EU para. 2 VOB/A.

Planning and turnkey construction of the grammar school for approx. 800 pupils and approx. 60 teachers as well as a usable area of approx. 5,500 m2.

The building to be erected is to be constructed in accordance with the standard climate-friendly non-residential building - with QNG.

The contractor must ensure that the operation of the school campus consisting of the local school buildings and the five-fold gymnasium can be maintained during the construction phase.

The choice of construction is incumbent on the contractor. Only system construction solutions from containers are excluded.

The city of Wesseling reserves the right to apply for and use subsidies. The eligibility requirements stated in the tender documents must be observed when processing the offer.

The client expects a comprehensive overall range of planning and construction services, interim construction financing services and maintenance services within the extended warranty period of up to 10 years (roof, façade, components in contact with the ground) including the adjustment of the technical systems.

The award procedure is carried out as a negotiated procedure with a competition.
