In order to remedy the deficiencies in the digitalisation of the public health system that were uncovered in the course of the Corona pandemic, the federal government has launched the extensive "Digital Health Office 2025" funding programme with funds from the European Resilience Facility. All clients individually and successfully participated in the first call for funding of the "Digital Health Office 2025" funding program initiated by the federal government. All clients have received grant notifications and are each independently involved in the implementation of their funded measures.
In March 2023, the federal government launched a second call for funding. The clients have each submitted coordinated funding applications for a joint project. The subject of the funding application is measures for the target standardization of nine processes in state health departments with associated automation and the creation of interoperable interfaces. The project, entitled "Data-Driven Collaboration and Cross-Application Process Automation in the ÖGD" ("Dazu-Pro-ÖGD", hereinafter referred to as "the Project"), has been approved. In response to the funding applications for the joint project, each client received an individual grant notification.

For the implementation of the project in the form of an ÖGD network project/process & digitalization manager responsible for results, the client intends to conclude an EVB IT service contract with an experienced and intensively networked partner, who will be responsible for the development and performance of the network as well as the result-oriented development of the content after call-off.
