The periodical is currently paper based and published four times a year. It is available through the Idunn platform. The procurement includes all work in publishing the completed periodical, editorial content, printing, and publication.
The periodical will become digital in the assignment period, and all the content that is produced must be available online free of charge for everyone. The digital transition must be made by the end of 2022 at the latest.
The contract period will be from when the contract is signed until 1 January 2026.
The total financial value for the contract period including the option is NOK 5 750 000 excluding MVA, and NOK 7 187 500 including VAT.

The annual financial value of the assignment is NOK 850 000 a year excluding VAT. The total financial value for the contract period is NOK 4 250 000 excluding MVA, and NOK 5 312 500 including VAT.
By the end of 2022 the periodical must be fully digital and available free of charge. The tender has an option to compensate for expenses connected to this. Before the option can be taken up, the winner of the tender must first document that it is not possible to cover these costs through, for example, advertisements or other financial sources. If it is not possible to cover the expenses, an option for NOK 300 000 excluding VAT. The option will be taken up from the year the periodical published free online content that is available for everyone.
The annual financial value of the assignment including the option is then NOK 1 150 000 a year excluding VAT. The total financial value for the contract period including the option is NOK 5 750 000 excluding MVA, and NOK 7 187 500 including VAT. The initiative is subject to VAT.
