Provision of construction and electrical installation services in connection with the replacement of 350 pieces of lighting cantilever steel tubular masts
Type AM 5m and type AM 6m with an addition, associated foundations as well as attachments for lighting systems, e.g. luminaire disassembly/assembly, cable laying and assembly work, surface restoration, coordination of barrier measures, execution of transport services and, if necessary, asphalt disposal on the entire territory of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The service is to be planned and executed independently by the Contractor within the specified period.
Hamburg Verkehrsanlagen GmbH intends to replace up to 3,200 BEL masts in 2024 due to their age. The services will be divided into 15 award procedures according to mast heights and quantities between 50 and 350 steel masts and will be awarded gradually between November 2023 and July 2024. An overview of other procedures is enclosed in the tender documents.
Scope of services essentially:
• Setting up and cordoning off the construction sites as well as their maintenance in accordance with the agreement and specifications of the local police stations in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Transport of the new masts to be erected and, if necessary, Precast foundations from the storage location of the client to the construction site. The transports of the masts are to be planned and coordinated independently by the Contractor.
• Obtaining a work permit from Stromnetz Hamburg GmbH, activating the public lighting network by the contractor.
• Dismantling of the existing luminaire and its mounting piece (attachment or attachment nozzle).
• Excavation of soil in manual excavation up to approx. 2.0 meters depth, including if necessary. difficult soil storage (the excavated material must be stored laterally, excess soil must be removed for own use), if necessary. Removal of concrete parts with poured concrete sleeves (without reinforcement).
• Replacement of the steel mast including professional disassembly and reassembly of the mast junction box or the sound frequency ripple control receiver coupling/radio ripple control receiver.
• The luminaires are installed after the lighting pole has been placed, including functional testing.
• Exchange of unusable soil, supply of filling floor and removal of unusable soil for own use. Backfilling and compacting of the mast holes.
• If traffic signs or street name signs are dismantled in the course of the work, they must be professionally reinstalled after completion of the work. If this is not possible, e.g. because the screws are rotten, the sign must be provisionally fastened with a metal band (e.g. tape-IT metal tape). Subsequently, the order processing must be informed immediately. In the event that the mast is finally dismantled, the responsible construction supervisor must be informed immediately.
