Procurement and implementation of an extended XRM or CRM system together with a basic ERP system
TMB Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH is the central destination management organization and marketer of tourism offers in the state of Brandenburg (see https://www.tourismusnetzwerk-brandenburg.de).
As an overarching marketing and management organization, she leads the Brandenburg tourism brand and sets impulses in particular through strong communication and services, innovation and knowledge transfer, and advancing the digitalization and internationalization of the industry. It supports tourism stakeholders in offering excellent holiday and leisure experiences to all Brandenburg guests along the travel chain.
The TMB was founded in 1998 on the basis of a cabinet decision by the state government and now has more than 60 employees.
TMB wants to make its internal processes more digitally efficient. The focus is on processes for invoice runs and budget management, which are to be consistently supported digitally with a new financial accounting/controlling or ERP system. In this context, the document and address management required for this purpose is also to be modernized.
In addition to a new ERP system, the focus is on replacing the existing CRM Cobra, as significantly expanded areas of application in the direction of an XRM are being envisaged here in the future.
In order to leverage synergies of modular solution platforms, close links between systems to prevent data silos, and complex interface development, this call for tenders includes the second of an extended CRM or XRM in addition to the first solution module of a new basic ERP.
The document management functionality required for both systems can be designed and offered both as part of one of these two solution modules or as a separate module.
The challenge is to find solutions that precisely address the specific requirements of TMB without having to resort to individual developments or proprietary special solutions (no “vendor lock-in”).
