Description:
Supply of Planned and Reactive Scaffolding Works

LondonEnergy Ltd (LEL) are conducting a procurement process for the award of a scaffolding services contract to support planned maintenance activity along with day to day reactive maintenance requirements.

LondonEnergy Ltd own and operate the Eco Park Energy centre located in Edmonton, London. The energy centre has 5 boilers burning approximately 500 000 tonnes of domestic refuse per year in a continuous 24-hour operation, 7 days per week.

A planned maintenance shutdown currently of approximately 24 days duration is undertaken on each boiler annually. The outage scope of works typically includes:

— annual statutory inspection,

— boiler tube thickness survey,

— replacement of boiler tubes,

— replacement of plate work and casings,

— refractory repairs,

— cleaning of the fireside spaces,

— overhaul of electrostatic precipitators,

— overhaul of roller grates.

LondonEnergy Ltd (LEL) are conducting a procurement process for the award of a scaffolding services contract to support the above described maintenance activity along with day to day reactive maintenance requirements also.

LEL are using the restricted procedure as per The Public Contract Regulations 2015. LEL expects to invite no less than 5 potential suppliers of these services to participate in a subsequent tender process. The responses to the questions below will enable LEL to ensure that the invitations are only issued to organisations with the apparent capability to provide these services.
