Delivery of a semi-stationary system (speed camera trailer) including accessories including maintenance and repair service
The district of Dahme-Spreewald intends to expand automated speed measurement to curb speeding. In order to ensure a full contribution to road safety and to increase the protection of vulnerable groups of people in a targeted manner, a system is needed that can measure in both directions of travel. A semi-stationary system (speed camera trailer) including maintenance and repair service will be put out to tender.
According to extensive research by the LDS, there is currently only one speed camera trailer that is able to take measurements in both directions of travel. However, since it cannot be 100% ruled out that there are equivalent products on the market that also meet the minimum requirements, a public competition will be held.
