Description:
Landesmedienzentrum BW - Optimization and functional extension "minnit ́"

The subject of the award procedure is IT services for the optimisation and functional expansion of the cross-border survey platform for learners and teachers "minnit ́"

Developed by the Baden-Württemberg State Media Center (LMZ) on behalf of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs (KM BW), the "minnit" survey app is a free, GDPR-compliant and ad-free web app that enables teachers in Baden-Württemberg to conduct surveys with their learning groups. The teacher can use drag and drop to create questionnaires in the form of single and multiple choices, true/false, a free text or a cloze text. The evaluation can then immediately be viewed live together and discussed with the class. Likewise, thanks to the optional direct feedback from the individual participants, the application can be used for self-control without the teacher gaining insight.

As part of a cross-state DigitalPact project of the federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and Saxony, "minnit" is now to be optimized and functionally expanded. Through this further development, teachers in these countries will have a GDPR-compliant tool at their disposal that will allow them and their learners to easily and quickly create variable surveys. In addition, the further development of the application contributes to fulfilling the educational mandate in the field of media literacy. Furthermore, "minnit" in its expanded form offers a wide range of opportunities for the active participation of learners. School education must enable people to participate in shaping the digital world in a responsible way. It is therefore essential that learners not only passively receive digital media at school, but also actively use them and design digital learning products themselves. "minnit" is explicitly not intended to be a diagnostic tool for teachers, but aims to make active and action-oriented learning possible. The optimizations and further developments required for this are the subject of this call for proposals.

The last functionalities must be provided by 31.12.2025 at the latest.

Within the framework of the tendered project, the hosting of minnit ́ is only to be provided during the further development and test phase for the implementation of the further development services (including staging with several instances, since there are "real users" and thus corresponding procedural and security requirements apply). The hosting for the productive operation that takes place after acceptance of the optimizations and further developments is not the subject of the tender.

For further details on the provision of services, please refer to the bill of quantities and annexes.
