First Wessex seeks a Consultant to undertake a Fire Risk Assessment for each of our new build, managed communal areas, depots and offices across its operational area of Hampshire.

FRA's are required under the following circumstances:

— Pre occupation.

— Scheduled as part programmed frequency.

— Requested by FW due to an incident or emergency.

— Requested by FW as a follow up of an existing FRA when actions are complete.

FW have approximately 850 FRA's in their database of various reassessment frequencies depending on the property type and current risk rating. This number will vary as some properties may be disposed of or demolished and other new schemes are added.

The key aspects of the service shall include the following:

1. Visit properties as per FW schedule to conduct Fire Risk Assessments (FRA's).

2. Identify hazards and suggest recommendations to prevent fire in order to protect the safety of occupants, visitors, employees and those in the immediate vicinity of the building.

3. Timely provision of FRA reports and competent advice.

4. Classify findings as Intolerable, Substantial, Moderate, Tolerable or Trivial as appropriate ensuring that actions are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time bound (SMART)

5. FRA's findings that are classified as intolerable or substantial to be reported to FW management team and Head of SHEQ immediately

6. Ensure all staff carry out work in a safe and proper manner both for themselves and for the well-being of others

7. To take part in operational review meetings at FW locations.

8. Liaison with FW Staff as required.

9. Meet all KPI's.
