The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Procurement Partnership (HIOWPP) consists of representatives from the 17 councils of Hampshire who procure a variety of goods and services collaboratively in order to achieve cost savings via economies of scale and combined leverage.
New Forest District Council is the lead authority on behalf of the HIOWPP and intends to award a 4 year framework contract to a single provider for the provision of cash collection services. The contract scope covers collection of cash (notes / coins / cheques) through to banking to the Councils nominated banking partner.
The length of the framework contract is 4 years, commencing 1.4.2018. HIOWPP authorities (hereinafter referred to as ‘ordering authorities’) are named parties to the outcome of this tender and are therefore entitled at any time during the 4 years of the framework term to enter into a call-off contract with the successful supplier.

The ordering authorities listed above require that the cash is either consolidated by the contractor and arrangements made for transfer to the nominated bank account or that the cash is delivered direct to banking centres. There will also be a requirement for delivery of change (notes and coins) to some sites.
