The project envisages demolishing the western wing of the building, which was built in 1963 and 1969, and replacing it with a new building. The L-shaped extension, together with the remaining north and east wings, forms a new complex in the form of a rectangular structure with a spacious inner courtyard.

The order is awarded subject to the credit resolution of the Cantonal Parliament.

Exposed concrete façade sandblasted approx. 2,800 m2 with 650 m3 of coloured in-situ concrete.

In addition to the precast elements for the element slabs, a further 384 precast concrete elements weighing up to 7.0 t per piece will be installed.

Heating systems with district heating transfer stations, heat distribution with underfloor and radiator heating for the auditorium, canteen and classroom wing.

Ventilation systems for auditorium, canteen and classroom wing.

Sanitary facilities with supply and disposal lines including basic pipes, 30 classrooms with various ancillary rooms (cleaning, works, etc.), toilet facilities, cloakrooms and a catering kitchen.
