Framework agreement to replace safety barriers on alternate sections Lot D - A12 from La Spezia to Pisa Nord - CIG 797920369D - CUP I47H18000970005

The works consist of the dismantling of the current safety barriers and the subsequent laying of new safety barriers of new generation, both in embankments and on viaducts, after requalification, where necessary, of the support structures of the same

The intervention involves the replacement of about 71 085 m, on embankment and on a work of art, of lateral safety barriers, of the following classes: H4 side edge (W4), H4 bridge edge (W5), H3 side edge (W5 ); H2 side edge (W6)

Within the intervention, from La Spezia to Pisa Nord, there are 25 between viaducts and bridges (description of the interventions contained in the tender documents)

The Framework Agreement has a duration - understood as the period within which the Principal may entrust the interventions included in the project based on the tender - of 4 years starting from the relative stipulation, except for early termination in the cases provided for by point VI.3 letter S.

The total amount of the Framework Agreement, including security charges, is EUR 33 337 323.49, excluding VAT.

The starting price of the auction, net of security charges, is EUR 32 997 995.95 to be compensated in the body.

The security charges, not subject to auction discount, are equal to EUR 339 327.54 to be compensated in body.

The overall amount of the framework agreement represents the summation of the individual application contracts that may be stipulated under the framework agreement.

The contract will be compensated in full.

Pursuant to art. 23, paragraph 16, of Legislative Decree no. 50/2016 and subsequent amendments (hereinafter also the Code) the amount placed at the tender base includes labor costs which the Contracting Station has estimated to be 25.500% of the works, VAT and security charges excluded.

The most economically advantageous offer, pursuant to art. 95, paragraph 2, of the Code, according to the criteria and parameters indicated in detail in the document "Evaluation criteria" forming part of the tender documents

The competitors can benefit from the increase of the classification within the limits and under the conditions indicated in the art. 61, paragraph 2, of Presidential Decree no. 207/2010 as in force

Any subcontracts will be regulated pursuant to art. 105 of the Code and other applicable laws in force. For details see the Tender Regulations

Payments relating to the work performed by the subcontractor or job manager will be made (except as provided for by Article 105, paragraph 13 of the Code, with the lawful verification of invoices by the Contractor) by the contractor who is obliged to transmit to the Principal , within twenty days of the date of each payment made, a copy of the receipted invoices indicating the guarantee withholdings made.

In case of availment, the competing economic operator will have to attach what is required by article 89 of the Code. The auxiliary subject must make the declarations referred to in point III.1.) In the same manner prescribed for the competitor and specified in the Tender Regulations

This contract cannot be subdivided into lots as these are interventions that for safety reasons must take place in strictly coordinated phases.

It should be noted that the award will be made by resolution of the competent bodies of the Contracting Station

Works carried out in self-financing.

The successful bidder will be paid, under the conditions and in the manner indicated in the art. 35, paragraph 18, of the Code, an advance equal to 20% of the amount of each individual application contract activated in the framework agreement.

Payments will be made on account, based on the progress of bimonthly work and final balance.

The accounting of the works will be carried out in accordance with the regulations governing public works
