The Gayant secondary school in Douai, built in 1978, has major technical problems (heating and ventilation) and major problems with thermal insulation. To date, despite some work carried out by the UT in recent years, the college is waiting for additional work to meet their pedagogical needs. The objective of the operation is to restructure the Gayant college from a technical, thermal and functional point of view and to strengthen the active presence of the establishment in its neighbourhood. The project will respect and integrate the requirements of the current thermal regulations and as part of this operation, the Department wishes to set up the Hqe Bd Renovation certification, as well as the reuse and bio-based materials procedures. The department specifies that the college will have to be asbestos removed according to the elements indicated in the program and its appendices
