The Contracting Authority aims to harmonize the ‘card present’ and ‘card non present’ incoming payments to the Merchant(s). Furthermore the Contracting authority is looking for ways to adopt more and innovative payment methods in order to be more efficient in revenue services.

The Contracting Authority is looking for one Contractor, potentially with Subcontractors. All parties individually must comply with the PCI/DSS standards and the Payment Service Directive. The legal responsibility for Subcontractors' operations will rest with the Contractor within the domain of the payments legislation (PCI/DSS and the Payment Service Directive).

The purpose of this Contract is to disclose effective and efficient Card payment methods to the Merchant(s). By doing so, current inward payment processes will be harmonized by making use of generic and robust solutions. ‘Merchants’ in this respect consist of present participants as well as future participants to the contract.
