The Neckar-Odenwald district in Mosbach is planning the construction of a new administration building in a central location close to the city centre, as a supplement to the existing administrative location of the district office and under the condition of sustainable climate-neutral construction.
The topographically challenging area is located opposite the bus station and is bordered by Neckarelzer Straße, Renzstraße, Scheffelstraße and Martin-Butzer-Straße. The construction of the new building is being carried out on the basis of a feasibility study across the slope and is intended to serve both for barrier-free overcoming of the slope situation and for barrier-free access to a 4-storey building from the 1920s. The extension is being built within an ensemble of buildings, mainly from the years 1900-1920 and therefore requires a special design examination of the historic former school buildings from the design.Requirements for the new building: Different types of offices: cubicle offices as single and double offices, alternatively combination offices, one floor for mobile working without a fixed workstation / shared desk, meeting rooms.
Furthermore, the connection of the new building over 3 floors to the existing building is to be planned.
The contract dates are planned: draft planning until 1.6.2024; Submission of the building application by 01.11.2024 and planned construction from 03/2025 to 12/2026.
