The Schwarzwald-Baar-Klinikum intends to procure a high-end MultiSlice computed tomography (planning CT) for the Radiotherapy Clinic and the CyberKnife Centrum Süd.

The planning CT is used to generate the anatomical and physical basic data for three-dimensional radiation planning. Advanced methods of dose reduction are to be realized. The system must be optimized for the special requirements of radiotherapy and, among other specifications, have the necessary interfaces to the therapy planning systems, etc. The planning CT is to be installed in the existing CT room.
