Regional Transport System Coordinators for Eastern Finland is a service procured by the North Savo Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (North Savo ELY Centre) together with the municipalities in the region to support, coordinate and develop regional transport system work.

Regional transport system coordinators will be selected for three major regions; Southern, North and Eastern, one consultant each. The southern region comprises the Mikkeli region and the Savonlinna region, the eastern region the Pielinen Karelia region, the Joensuu region and the Central Karelia region, and the northern region the Ylä-Savo region, Kuopio region and Keski-Savo region. The division into regions and municipalities is presented in the work programme. The consultancy agreements will be made regionally for 2024-2026 with an option for 2027-2028.

The LJ coordinator for the southern region supports ELY and municipalities in the transport system work in the Mikkeli region and Savonlinna region.

The LJ coordinator for the northern region supports the transport system work of the municipalities of the Ylä-Savo region, Kuopio region and Keski-Savo region and ELY region.

The LJ coordinator for the eastern region supports the transport system work of the municipalities of Pielinen Karelia, Joensuu region and Central Karelia, as well as ELY Finland.
