Byrådsavdelingen [The Public Administration Department] for elderly, health and social services, has given Sykehjemsetaten [the Agency for Nursing Homes, the task of procuring long term leasing and servicing agreements for 3 to 5 nursing homes with places for up to 400 residents as long term lease agreements for leasing periods of at least 30 years, with an option to extend for ten years. The agreement period for the service contracts is either 8 years + 1 year + 1 year or ongoing contracts with 12 months period of notice. The competition is reserved for ideal suppliers who have sites. The Agency for Nursing Homes is now in the process of pre-qualification of tenderers, and selection of tenderers is planned to be completed during April/May 2017.

The next phase will involve preparation of the tender documents, competitions with negotiations about the execution of the engineering design, construction, leasing, operation and maintenance of nursing homes, as well as nursing home operations (psychiatry and/or somatic). In this regard there is a need for project support for engineering assistance in construction.
