The object of this contract includes the support works to the public entity Augas de Galicia in the operation, maintenance and conservation of the infrastructures integrated in the official network of gauging of the rivers of the Galicia-Costa river basin district. This support refers mainly to the realization of direct gauging at the gauging points in the same section of the riverbed, where the measuring device is installed to balance and keep the expenditure curve updated, which directly relates draught with flow and the treatment of the information obtained and, in general, of the conservation and monitoring work of these river control and measurement infrastructures.

The works included in this service include:

•General tasks of operation, maintenance and conservation of the gauging network, in order to obtain data on level and flow at these stations, for the analysis of the available resource and for the monitoring of extreme hydrological phenomena, droughts and floods.

• Data collection and maintenance of the gauging stations, through field work the direct gauging, data collection and calibration of the expenditure curves and the specific maintenance of the measuring devices and the station environment will be carried out.

• Processing, modelling and preparation of reports related to the data of the gauging stations, on a daily, monthly and annual basis
