Description:

Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Commissioning Support Service (LLRCSS) (formed from NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland PCT Cluster), on behalf of Leicester City CCG is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of an open mind improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) service.

The open mind service will be a community based service, building firmly on the improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) programme (see http://www.iapt.nhs.uk/) offering a range of evidence based psychological interventions including NICE approved / recommended psychological therapies in line with relevant clinical guidance; associated with improved service user outcomes and recovery rates.

The local service model will cover:

— Depression,

— Generalised anxiety disorder,

— Mixed depression and anxiety,

— Panic disorder,

— Obsessive-compulsive disorder,

— Phobias (including social anxiety disorder (social phobia)),

— Post-traumatic stress disorder,

— Health anxiety (Hypochondriasis).

In addition to the above the local model will develop to also encompass other conditions including:

— Adjustment disorders,

— Anger management,

— Depression or anxiety in adults with a chronic physical health problem (Long Term Conditions LTC) or medically unexplained symptoms,

— Substance misuse,

— Mild learning disability or cognitive impairment such as Aspergers,

— Personality disorder (not severe),

— Other comorbid mental health conditions (e.g. non-acute or stable psychosis) where anxiety or depression-related symptomatology is present – mental health facilitator.

Providers wishing to express an interest for delivering these services can do so by logging onto the East Midlands Procurement eTendering portal, and registering by no later than 17:00 hours on Thursday 30.5.2012:

To register on the portal:

— From the portal Home Page, click the ‘Click Here to Register’ link,

— Accept the terms & conditions for using the portal,

— Complete your organisation & personal details,

— Choose a memorable username and submit,

— You will shortly be sent an e-mail with your unique password, please treat this securely (if you lose it there is a ‘Forgot my Password’ link on the portal homepage).

To express interest in the PQQ:

— Login with your unique username & password,

— From the suppliers reserved area click ‘PQQs Open to All Suppliers’ – this is a repository of all PQQ’s open to any registered supplier,

— Browse the PQQs (there may be more than one page) and select 'Leicester City Open Mind (IAPT) Service' by clicking on it,

— Note the Details buttons on the left for Navigation and the Actions below,

— Click the ‘Express Interest’ action – this will move the PQQ from the PQQs Open to All Suppliers area to your ‘My PQQs’ area – this is a reserved area for PQQs that you have either been invited to or expressed interest in.

A Bidder event will be held on 30th May, 2-4pm at Leicester Tigers, Barbarian Suite, Aylestone Road Leicester LE2 7TR. Potential providers who wish to attend this event should use the messaging facility on the East Midlands Procurement eTendering portal to reserve places, which are limited to two per organisation.

Documentation will be available from Thursday 31.5.2012.

Closing date for submission of completed PQQ’s is 17:00 hours on Thursday 28.6.2012.
