Support of process operation and further developments in the SharePoint environment at the state-owned enterprise SID via remote access and directly on site

The SID currently operates 2 SharePoint platforms, on the one hand the "Extranet-Portal Sachsen" and on the other hand the "technical component intranet".

The "Extranet-Portal Sachsen" is an information and collaboration platform based on Microsoft SharePoint 2016 Server for project- and topic-specific information, the provision and joint processing of documents and other communication and cooperation between employees of the state and municipal administrations of the Free State of Saxony and with external users (e.g. employees of external service providers).

The "Extranet-Portal Sachsen" is operated by the state-owned enterprise Sächsische Informatik Dienste (SID) with a productive environment and a test and acceptance environment locally in its own data center (on premises).

The "technical component intranet" is an information and collaboration platform based on Microsoft SharePoint 2016 Server for internal administrative information and collaboration as well as the establishment and operation of authority intranets of Saxon state authorities.

The "technical component intranet" is operated by the state-owned enterprise Sächsische Informatik Dienste (SID) with a productive environment and a test and acceptance environment locally in its own data center (on premises).

In the future, new Microsoft SharePoint platforms (on premises, hybrid, cloud) and SharePoint applications (e.g. in the area of extranet, knowledge management or intranet) can be added or existing ones integrated.

The present tender is intended to find a suitable partner who will support the process operation and further developments in the SharePoint environment at the state enterprise SID via remote access and directly on site over several years as a competent, flexible service provider.

With its IT specialists, MS SharePoint developers, consultants and its operating staff, this service provider is to take over services in the following service groups for the "Extranet-Portal Sachsen", the "technical component intranet" and for possible other Microsoft SharePoint platforms:

• Installation, configuration as well as infrastructure and technical process operation SharePoint (without hardware provision),

• Technical administration and application support SharePoint,

• SharePoint automation using DocAve and other tools

• SharePoint development and programming services,

• Support and maintenance,

• Performing migrations and tests,

• Consulting services (e.g. for licensing, strategic planning and further development, concept development and maintenance, implementation of training, coaching).

The contractor must work closely with SID's existing staff in its service provision to ensure a continuous and effective transfer of knowledge from the contractor to SID personnel.
