1.26.1.45. Extension of the high-performance public transport network to the North in Brussels: Lot 2 - Construction of a new metro depot in Haren - Works contract - Negotiated procedure with prior call for competition

In addition to the construction of a 170 m structure under the railway grill at the Gare du Nord which

is the subject of a separate contract, the implementation of the Métro Nord programme involves the construction of a 4.5 km tunnel

dug with a tunnel boring machine, 7 new stations carried out in open excavation and a new depot on the Haren site.

The Haren depot is one of two new metro depots created to complement the existing network.

This is the construction of a key-on-door depot, that is to say a completely finished set (Civil Engineering, Structural Work,

Special Techniques, Finishing, Landscaping). Upon provisional receipt, the deposit must be ready to be

Operated.

More specifically, it is a storage depot and a maintenance workshop for automatic metros composed of the elements

the following, meeting the needs of STIB-MIVB's Metro Business Unit (BUM):

- an administrative building: atrium and premises / offices for staff, technical rooms, halls for circulation and delivery

materials;

- a workshop: loading and unloading area, container and storage area for clarcks, pit tracks, lanes of

dust removal and degreasing and access to the roof of trains, lifting stand, storage, storage and metro-wash tracks

automatic;

- an infrastructure workshop area: storage area and loading of work trains;

- an infrastructure office: workshop and premises for staff.

This contract concerns the construction of the metro depot at the Haren site. This is the construction of a depot

key-on-door, i.e. a fully finished set (Civil Engineering, Structural Work, Special Techniques, Completion,

Landscaping). Upon provisional receipt, the deposit must be ready for operation.

More specifically, it is the construction of all the infrastructures, buildings and fixed equipment necessary for

the operation of the automatic metro depot.

The contract includes the following:

- Earthworks and possible land remediation work;

- the construction of an entry control booth;

- the construction of a storage and care or maintenance hall and an electrical substation;

- the construction of an administrative and social building;

- the construction of a work -infrastructure train zone;

- the construction of an outdoor parking area;

- the supply and installation of rolling stock maintenance equipment (special metro techniques): a pit tower for

the reprofiling of the wheels of the metros, a machine for washing the outside of the subways, an area equipped with lifting columns

to lift the crates and replace the bogies, equipment for the interior cleaning of the metros, centralized suction,

windshield washer product distribution facilities, automated vertical storage for the store, pits for

access sills and secure walkways (high voltage cut-off) with workshop sockets to access

equipment on the roof of metros, a compressed air distribution network, overhead cranes;

- the supply and installation of equipment for the electrical substation;

- the supply and installation of equipment of special building techniques;

- the development (phased) of the surroundings;

- the connection to the existing test track;

- the laying of railway tracks and switches on the site (the supply and installation of equipment and materials will be done via another

market; the foundations and chests are to be provided by the successful tenderer for this contract);

- the coordination of other contracts and site logistics of the whole (see description of the other contracts below).

The successful tenderer for this contract will work as a general contractor for the Haren depot area.

This contract is part of a system environment defined by the Client which aims to achieve the right

integration of the north metro project into the STIB-MIVB network. The system environment defines the needs and requirements of

completed by the general contractor. The latter will have to ensure the integration of its market into the defined system environment

and achieve this good integration in interface with the other systems of the environment as described in the

loads and plans defined by the Owner and in agreement with the latter.

The successful tenderer will also coordinate the other contracts described below for the Haren depot part, in co-contracting with

those of his company, according to the attribution of these by the Owner of the Project, namely:
