Åsnes Municipality and Våler Municipality, hereafter called the contracting authority, would like to enter into a contract for emptying sludge. A contract will be signed with one tenderer. Åsnes and Våler Municipalities are thus extending an invitation to an open tender contest for emptying and delivery sludge from private sewer systems.

The assignment will mainly consist of emptying sludge from private sewer systems and inspecting private sewer systems when emptying them. In addition the sludge is to be transported in Våler Municipality from Eidsmoen treatment plant and Ranum treatment plant to the sludge lagoon at Haslemoen.

The assignment is for emptying sludge from private sewer systems in dispersed settlements, which the municipality is obliged to carry out pursuant to the Pollution Act § 26.

The total value of the contract over 2 years is estimated to be approx. NOK 3.6 million, excluding VAT.

The procurement's estimated value is based on historical figures. The estimated value in the tender documentation and annexes is not binding for the company, nor does it give the tenderer any rights.
