The target of the procurement is school transport for approximately 220 pupils in the municipality of Sauvo. School transport under the agreement will start at the beginning of the school year in autumn 2023 and last until the end of the school year in the spring.

Preschool transport is combined with school transport. Transportation may also include secondary school students. In addition, it is possible to agree on so-called service traffic, i.e. the participation of non-schoolchildren.

School transport will be procured for the academic years 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 and as an option for the academic years 2025–2026 and 2026–2027.

The procurement is divided into sub-areas by route. The provider may provide school transport services for one or more routes. Routes 1-4 can be offered as a combination offer.

1. Korpela – Silkkilä – Saustila – Sauvo city centre

2. Järvenkyläntie – Ruona – Sauvo city centre

3. Finskyläntie – Vanha Karunantie – Osmalahdentie – Lautkankare – Sauvo city centre

4. Sauvon-Kemiöntie – Rantola – Karunantie – Sauvo city centre

5. Päisterpää – Halslahti – Neitsaari – Sauvo city centre

6. Rajalahti – Haarakallio – Sauvo city centre

7. Haanniemi – Metsämäentie – Voilahti – Laanilantie – Sauvo city centre

8. Vallerinnantie – Tyyneläntie – Sauvo city centre

9. Sauvo city centre – Kimitoön island

Each route includes three trips:

- School day starts at 8:30 a.m.

- The school day ends on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 12:30 and 14:30

- The school day ends on Tuesdays at 13:30 and 14:30 (the day of the week when the earlier afternoon transport is run at 13:30 may vary from semester to semester, in the 2023-2024 school year the day is tentatively Tuesday)

As a result of the procurement procedure, the contracting entity selects one (1) service provider for each sub-area/route with whom it concludes the contract.

The procurement also includes chartered transports and possible additional transport needs as an additional procurement opportunity. Charter times refer to, for example, the basic curriculum, etc. for schoolchildren. day trips, trade fairs, athletics and ski races, swimming trips, etc. transports ordered for your needs. Additional transport needs refer to, for example, additional routes or journeys.
