The subject of the contract is: "Collection and management of municipal waste from inhabited properties in the Krzyżanowice Municipality in 2024". A description of the subject matter of the contract is included in the Terms of Reference with attachments.

The subject of the contract is: "Collection and management of municipal waste from inhabited properties in the Krzyżanowice Municipality in 2024", including m.in:

a) Provision of services for the collection and management of municipal waste generated on inhabited properties where municipal waste is generated in the Krzyżanowice Municipality in a way that ensures the achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods and reduction of the mass of biodegradable waste sent to landfill, in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 13 September 1996 on maintaining cleanliness and order in the municipalities, the provisions of the Waste Management Plan for the Silesian Voivodeship, the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 10 May 2021 on the detailed method of selective collection of selected waste fractions (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 906) and all applicable laws.

(b) Purchase and distribution of bags for selective collection of municipal waste in single-family and multi-family buildings, provided that the community chooses segregation in bags,

c) Establishment and operation of a selective municipal waste collection point (PSZOK), enabling easy access to all residents of the Krzyżanowice commune, meeting the requirements set out in the law in terms of location on the property to which the Contractor has a legal title.

Until this point is established or in the event of resignation from its creation, the Krzyżanowice Municipality proposes and makes available a point located in Zabełkowo at Zagumnie Street or on the premises of the Municipal Waste Landfill in Tworkowo, and the Contractor will bear the costs of its operation after agreeing the terms with the owner of the land.

d) Providing containers for collection of textiles and worn clothing on the premises of the PSZOK.

1. The projected total amount of municipal waste covered by the contract will be 5 300 [Mg] of waste/year.

2. The Contractor expresses its readiness to implement and continuously improve pro-ecological activities in accordance with the Environmental Policy of the Krzyżanowice Commune, i.e. the Environmental Protection Program for the Krzyżanowice Municipality and its updates, as well as the Development Strategy of the Krzyżanowice Commune.

3. The use of environmentally friendly materials and technologies; maximum protection against harmful impact on the natural environment – (minimization of exhaust fumes, oil leaks, noise). Minimizing the use of heavy equipment and minimizing the work of mechanical equipment, i.e. carrying out the task with the use of equipment adapted in size and weight to the existing road infrastructure of the municipality, not causing damage to this infrastructure.
