This contract award notice informs interested operators about the outcome of a tender.
On 31/05/2022 a contract notice was dispatched as part of the EU project H2020 - TIQUE to purchase R&D services from a number of R&D providers in parallel (PCP procurement).
The PCP procurement compared competing alternative solution approaches to address the following challenge: The developement and validation of innovative solutions to support healthcare services to provide rapid responses to people with AHF and complex care needs through integrated care.
Main technical challenges: TIQUE challenges the industry, through a PCP process, to create disruptive, technology-enabled, all-in-one, flexible and adaptable solutions to support the delivery of predictive, preventive, personalised and participatory integrated care for patients with AHF.
This PCP is a joint procurement by different procurers across Europe that are all facing the same common challenge and are thus looking for similar solutions.
The procurement was announced in the form of a PCP with a phased approach framework agreement that covers 3 R&D phases:
- R&D up to solution design
- R&D up to a prototype
- R&D up to original development, validation and testing of a limited set of first products or services.
After each phase, intermediate evaluations are carried out to progressively select the best competing solutions. The contractors with the best-value-for-money solutions will be offered a specific contract for the next phase.
The total budget of 4,429,075 € (Spanish VAT, 21%, included) was earmarked for awarding the contracts to a minimum of:
- a minimum of four (4) contractors for phase 1
- a minimum of three (3) Phase 2 and
- a minimum of two (2) contractors for phase 3.
Sufficient amount of good quality tenders were received to award the planned amount of contracts.
The abstracts of the winning tenders are available on TIQUE (https://www.tiquepcp.eu/)
The procurement started on 31st May 2022 and it is expected to end on 9th December 2025. This date is indicative, but in any case, it will stick to the actual date of execution
