The tender must lead to the selection of 1 Contractor for the independent research services in the field of technological innovation to be provided in this tender and the model-based interpretation thereof for the benefit of foundation education and MBO. Part of the service is the provision of an (independent) knowledge base in which information is stored in the ICT field and market analyses as well as the interpretation of these innovative developments by IT consultants of the Contractor.

Within the tender to be followed, Kennisnet aims to contract a single service provider, which contributes to achieving the following goals:

1. Broad and in-depth market insight: Providing Kennisnet with insight into the current and future market (developments) in a wide range of knowledge areas and in the international field, and offering in-depth (technical) authoritative advice in these knowledge areas. Think of best practices, implementation guidelines, the impact of (market) developments on strategic choices in relation to the educational sectors in which Kennisnet is active;

2. Customer-driven - Proactively provide information about developments that may be relevant to Kennisnet. Availability of experts for consultation on specific research, education, and/or IT projects.

3. User-friendly - Facilitate access to the widest possible range of information and research for Kennisnet employees in an accessible manner;

4. Connect – Provide access to a network of analysts, customers and other IT stakeholders, for example based on seminars and conferences, so that user learning effects are maximized.
