Oslo Municipality c/o Kultur- og idrettsbygg Oslo KF (KID) (the Municipal Undertaking for Culture and Sports Facilities Oslo), hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to participate in an open tender competition for a framework agreement for construction management (construction manager and coordinator for the execution). KID (the Municipal Undertaking for Cultural and Sports Facilities) is a municipal enterprise with responsibility for engineering design, construction, administration and operation of cultural buildings and sports facilities in Oslo. KID administers an area of approx. 160 000 m2 divided between more than 40 building and facilities. The portfolio consists of cultural buildings, multi-purpose halls, ice rinks, bathing facilities, skating rinks, stadium facilities and the signalling systems at Holmenkollen national facility and Bislett stadium. The objective of the tender contest is to enter into 3-4 parallel framework agreements for construction management for construction projects and other projects related to the contracting authority's activities. Based on historical figures and plans, the need for construction management is estimated to be between NOK 40-80 million over 4 years.

The objective of the tender contest is to enter into 3-4 parallel framework agreements for construction management for construction projects and other projects related to the contracting authority's activities. The framework agreement includes construction management for projects that vary in scope, duration and cost. The projects vary from smaller measures with a value of less than NOK 0.5 million, to larger projects with a value of more than NOK 500 million. Most of the assignments are related to new investments, but also large and small renovation projects can be included, as well as other assignments in connection with the implementation of measures of a certain size or complexity in existing buildings and facilities. The projects may include different organisation and contract practice. Based on experience, most projects will be carried out as turnkey contracts or execution contracts. Based on historical figures and plans, the need for construction management is estimated to be between NOK 40-80 million over 4 years.
