HUS Group invites tenders for surgical gloves. The purchase includes latex and synthetic sterile surgical gloves. The products are described in more detail in the invitation to tender under criteria for the object of procurement.
The purchase is divided into parts by type of glove and the decision is made for each part separately.
The goal is to use competitive tendering to provide high-quality products that serve the demanding needs of HUS and other customers. The aim is also to ensure that the delivery reliability of products is good and that products are available when they are needed.
The object of procurement also includes additional sizes related to the products offered and surgical gloves to be procured for the special needs of individual users, which are described in more detail in section "Criteria of the object of procurement" and in Appendix 1 "Tender appendix". During the contract period, it is also possible to purchase products belonging to the product groups covered by the contract that are not specified in the product annex in accordance with the estimated value of the procurement (cf. Annex 2 Draft Agreement).
The actual contract period is 2 years, after which the agreement will continue until further notice.
This is a joint procurement of several contracting entities, which is carried out as a procurement ring. The products requested in this invitation to tender will be used by: HUS Group (HUS), South Karelia wellbeing services county, Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county, Päijät-Häme wellbeing services county, City of Helsinki, Eastern Uusimaa wellbeing services county, Central Uusimaa wellbeing services county, Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county, West Uusimaa wellbeing services county and Finnish Defence Forces. The estimated total value of the procurement (VAT 0%) is approximately EUR 6,500,000 / 4 years. This is an estimate, and the contracting entity does not commit to the declared euro amounts or the actual consumption amounts stated in the invitation to tender. The final order quantities may be higher or lower than stated.
