The SFA is seeking innovative tenders from Candidates who can work with schools, teachers and other key partners in supporting and ensuring that schools effectively meet their statutory duties, specifically on the Apprenticeships and Traineeships offer. There should be a keen focus on providing up to date information, advice and guidance on the higher apprenticeship offer, with progression routes into them clearly signposted.

A key aspect of the project would be to identify and then focus on developing schools where there is clear evidence of no or little engagement with the apprenticeship route. It is essential that young people are registered on the ‘Find An Apprenticeship System’ and that they are given information on how to register and apply for an Apprenticeship or Traineeship.
