The aim of the project is to protect pedestrians and cyclists by establishing a through foot and cycle path from Notland to Mosterhamn. In addition the road's curvature is to be improved in some places in order to avoid dangerous situations and bad access. Water and sewage and other infrastructure will be renewed along the entire route. Approx. 800 m surface water ditches in addition to those that are in and along the road.
