Hull and mechanical spare parts for warships. Flexible Couplings and Pressure Compensating Units. Maritime Equipment Systems has a requirement for the supply of:

Lot 1: Propulsion Flexible Couplings (Main Circulation Water and Sea Water Systems flexible couplings and associated fittings) as employed in RN Trafalgar Class Submarines.

Lot 2: Ship Systems Pressure Compensating Units and Flexible Couplings (High Pressure Bilge and Ballast Pump flexible couplings and pressure compensating units and associated fittings and Forward Ballast flexible couplings and pressure compensating units and associated fittings) as employed in RN Trafalgar Class Submarines.

It will require the successful candidate(s) to demonstrate competence and experience with the supply of flexible couplings and pressure compensating units to the required standards. This requires management of First Level equipment in accordance with MOD SSP25 mandated process. The required outputs will include, but not necessarily limited to:

— Supply of Main Circulation Water and Sea Water Systems flexible couplings and pressure compensating units and associated fittings;

— Supply of High Pressure Bilge and Ballast Pump flexible couplings and pressure compensating units and associated fittings;

— It is to be noted that this requirement is subject to UK Government Policy on Transparency and that the Invitation To Tender and any resultant Contract Documents may be subject to publication in a redacted format.
