Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) proposes to pre-qualify a number of suitably qualified candidates to participate in the tender process to award a multi-company 4 year Framework Agreement for the provision of building and structures maintenance services.
Tenderers may submit a pre-qualification application for any of the 3 service lots as defined below:
— Lot 1: Provision of labour with transport: provision of labour resources with a van and tools to execute planned cyclical maintenance and fault reported reactive maintenance works within defined geographical locations,
— Lot 2: Provision of call off services for emergency front line works: specialist and qualified tradespersons to carry out repairs and remedial works to building and structures within defined geographical locations,
— Lot 3: Provision of planned, low value, small building maintenance works: for ad-hoc requirements and will be based on tendered day rates for tradespersons and semi-skilled operatives.
Lot 1: Provision of labour with transport: the provision of labour resources with a van and tools to execute planned cyclical maintenance and fault reported reactive maintenance works within defined geographical locations. IÉ may award a contract for individual geographical locations (12 in total) to more than 1 tenderer.
Each contract will be for a 4 year period using a fixed price weekly rate for 50 weeks per annum.
Lot 2: Provision of call off services for emergency front line works: required to carry out repairs and remedial works to building and structures within defined geographical locations. The type of works will require specialist and qualified tradesmen.
The call-off for the required services will be determined by the availability of the Contractor who submitted the lowest price. In the event that the lowest price contractor is not available then the second lowest priced contractor or thereafter will be contacted. Contractors appointed to the Framework Agreement will be able to refresh rates on an annual basis thereby allowing contractors who have not received any work to submit more competitive rates.
Lot 3: Provision of planned, low value, small building maintenance works: for ad-hoc requirements and will be based on tendered day rates within defined geographical locations for tradespersons and semi-skilled operatives along with agreed mark-ups for materials and plant.
The individual value of this works will be < 5 000 EUR.
