The aim of this tender is to purchase two next-generation firewalls as a cluster system for perimeter and two standalone next-gen firewall systems for internal operation. The firewalls should be set up in parallel with the existing infrastructure. All firewalls must provide at least a data throughput of 100Gbit/s in packet filtering mode and at least 20Gbit/s with IPS and AV protection turned on. In addition, all firewalls must be manageable via a common, central management system. The offer must include central management. In cluster operation, the firewall must necessarily offer zero downtime (also for major releases).

In addition, the costs for all necessary licenses, subscriptions (IPS, NGFW, etc.) and support for a term for the next 5 years must be stated. The 5-year term begins with the delivery of the hardware and ends automatically after the end of the 5 years. There is no longer any need for extra notice here.
