The German Aerospace Center, acting for its Flight Experiments Facility, operates amongst others the research aircraft ISTAR. A modified Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy II (D-BDLR) is the basis for the airplane. DLR's pilots have to be trained on Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy II type to be legally eligible to fly the ISTAR platform. Furthermore DLR's flight test engineers have to be trained on Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy II type to lead research test flights on board the ISTAR platform.

2) Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy II Recurrent Training;
3) Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy II Simulator dry-lease.
