Knowledge shall be acquired in the period October 2015-January 2017 on the transition between school and work for pupils with mental handicaps. The assignment shall contribute to better knowledge on how schools, municipalities and national education authorities can contribute to good transitions between school and work for this group of pupils.

The assignment shall also answer the following questions:

To what degree do pupils with mental handicaps get work after they have left school?

What characterises the adaptations for the pupils'transition to work?

The assignment's final report shall be submitted by 15.1.2017.
