The procurement of 8 'large' forklifts for use at the State's emergency depots against acute pollution.
This procurement shall provide increased security related to loading operations, enable efficient use of space at the depots and increase the efficiency of mobilisation of the materiel at the depots
The objective of the procurement:
The Norwegian Coastal Administration has forklifts at all state emergency depots. The following conditions generates the need to consider the replacement of large parts of the forklift fleet.
- Age and wear and tear of the current forklifts
- New and heavier materiel that requires increased capacity
- General safety requirements for heavy lifting and new safety requirements
The aim of the procurement is to provide increased security around loading operations, enable efficient use of space at the depots and increase the mobilisation of the materiel at the depots.
The forklifts must be able to lift a 10 feet container of 5 tonnes. Other technical requirements are specified in requirements and criteria for the procurement.
Scope
By signing this contract, the Norwegian Coastal Administration will make call-offs for the delivery of 2 forklifts that meet the requirements in the requirements specification.
Moreover, the Norwegian Coastal Administration sees a need the delivery of 6 additional forklifts in the option.
