The municipality of Petershagen/Eggersdorf intends to build a two-field gymnasium and the associated outdoor sports areas. The sports facilities are used to supply the Eggersdorf primary school.
The planning, construction and interim construction financing services required for this measure are to be provided by a general contractor (overall award).
The municipality of Petershagen/Eggersdorf intends to build a two-field gymnasium and the associated sports open spaces on a plot of approx. 6,500 m2, south of Rotdornstraße in Eggersdorf. The sports facilities are used to supply the Eggersdorf primary school. The gymnasium there, which is not in accordance with standards in any case, does not meet current and future demands. Due to population growth, a further expansion is planned on the site, so that the entire sports infrastructure is to be relocated to the well-connected area on Rotdorn Street within walking distance.
The net area of the two-field hall should be approx. 1,056 m2 (24mx44m). A separating curtain is intended to allow the two fields to be used separately, so that two classes can have physical education lessons in parallel. The number of changing rooms and sanitary facilities should correspond to this, whereby additional changing rooms are to be provided for partial use by a third class 2. A soccer field, a long jump facility, a running track and a circular track are planned for the outdoor sports facility.
The contract award includes the turnkey construction of a compact two-field sports hall including the associated outdoor sports areas and other outdoor facilities on a site in the immediate vicinity of the Eggersdorf school campus. The basis is a functional construction work description with a room program. The contractor must provide all necessary planning and construction services for the ready-to-use construction of the two-field hall, including fixed fixtures (e.g. sports equipment, cloakroom benches, partition curtain, baffle wall, gate and doors to the equipment rooms), as well as the production of all outdoor facilities. The planning services include design, building application and execution planning, which must be coordinated with the municipality.
In addition, the object of the overall award is:
- the assumption of maintenance services for roof claddings/green and roof drainage as well as for the technical systems within a warranty period of 5 years, including the adjustment of the technical systems and
- taking over growth care within the first two growing seasons for green areas, planting areas, trees, hedges and infiltration systems after planting the respective plants.
After completion of the overall service, the planning and construction services will be remunerated. The interim financing required during the planning and construction phase is at the contractor's risk. It is possible to make an advance payment after completion and acceptance of the sports hall. Depending on the construction schedule and the interim construction financing costs, this must be presented by the bidder. The services for maintenance, adjustment and growth care are paid separately in lump sums to be offered by the contractor.
The contractor has to structurally implement this project. The planning and construction tasks include in particular:
- ready-to-use construction of the two-field hall including fixed installations,
- new construction of outdoor sports areas,
- construction of the required parking spaces, driveways and access roads, as well as fencing, greening and drainage systems,
- Provision of all planning and specialist planning services required for the setup task, as well as the provision of test engineers/test experts.

The municipality plans to start up the gym at the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year, with outdoor sports areas and outdoor facilities to be completed by the end of 2024 at the latest.
