3.2 A detailed description of the tree species is included in Annex 2a to the Terms of Reference - Inventory and quantity list.
3.3 Transport is carried out by the Contractor on his own, must take place in a way that does not cause damage to trees.
3.3.1 Conditions to be met by plant material:
3.3.1.1 tree trunk circumference measured at a height of 1 m 20-25 cm;
3.3.1.2 trees must be nursed at least three times - nursery declaration required;
3.3.1.3 produced in the ground and delivered with a root ball secured with jute mesh and wire basket;
3.3.1.4 must be consistent with the variety indicated by the Employer;
3.3.1.5 material from a given species and group shall be even in terms of height, shape of crowns and trunk circumferences;
3.3.1.6 must be in good health, without bark defects or abrasions, with scarred wounds after crown formation, without signs of fungal diseases and pests;
3.3.1.7 last year's increase should clearly and simply extend the guide;
3.3.1.8 shoots should be numerous and evenly distributed symmetrically in a manner typical of the variety;
3.3.1.9 the root system should be concentrated and properly developed, and skeletal roots should have numerous root hair roots;
3.3.1.10 the guide should be simple;
3.3.1.11 the scars on the guide should be well overgrown;
3.3.1.12 must be uniform throughout the party, healthy and not withered;
3.3.1.13 the plant material supplied should comply with the "Quality guidelines for ornamental nursery material", ie trees must have labels on which the Latin name is given.
3.3.2 Unacceptable defects - trees must not be affected by any of these defects:
3.3.2.1 severe mechanical damage to plants,
3.3.2.2 root offshoots below the vaccination site,
3.3.2.3 traces of pest feeding,
3.3.2.4 signs of disease,
3.3.2.5 withering and wrinkling of the bark, necrosis and cracks in the bark,
3.3.2.6 damage or drying to the root ball,
3.3.2.7 two-shoot crowns of money-making trees,
3.3.2.8 trees with poorly developed crowns, too grown up, too extended upwards in relation to the correct habit characteristic for a given variety,
3.3.2.9 bad crown growth with washer,
3.3.2.10 one-sided arrangement of tree crown shoots.
3.3.3 Land preparation for planting and planting trees consists of the following:
3.3.3.1 digging a pit larger than the diameter of the root ball of the planted tree. Pits should be dug carefully, due to the proximity of the roots of neighboring trees and shrubs. Exports of excess soil and any other waste should be included. Damage should always be deposited on previously unfolded foil. It is not allowed to store soil from pits directly on lawns or adjacent surfaces,
3.3.3.2 placing the tree below - the root neck should be up to 3 cm above the planned surface of the bowl level. It should be provided that the bowl will be lowered by 5 cm compared to the native soil,
3.3.3.3 total mortar of the pit with fertile soil and slowly releasing fertilizers. It is not allowed to use soil dug from below under a tree to backfill pits. This land should be taken out the same day
3.3.3.4 mulching with medium-ground composted coniferous bark of the entire bowl surface, 5 cm thick (to the surface of the native soil) with a 2.5-5 cm distance between the litter and the root of the trunk,
3.3.3.5 watered with water after planting, until the root ball is completely soaked.
3.3.4 Plant stabilization consists in:
3.3.4.1 driving three stakes. Turned stakes, diameter about 6-8 cm, height 250 cm should be new, made of pressure-impregnated wood.
3.3.4.2 the stakes shall be connected to each other by a single cross-bar at the top.
