Klinikum Hochsauerland GmbH provides comprehensive and efficient healthcare and patient treatment at the highest level at four hospital locations in the Hochsauerland district, the largest area in NRW.
The subject of the call for tenders is the procurement and introduction of a PDMS (patient data management system) and an anesthetic planing/documentation system. The client has set himself the goal of going into operation with a new, modern and future-oriented PDMS (patient data management system intensive) and anesthetic planing/documentation system to complement the already existing administrative hospital information system medico. The overall system is intended to form an integrative solution with the administrative hospital information system and the medical information system, which covers the following higher-level tasks:
- Medical and nursing documentation in the intensive care area including the examination and treatment areas as well as vital data/parameters
- Electronic patient record
- communication across all medical and administrative areas related to patients (communication with core and subsystems such as laboratories etc.)
- patient-related service recording/documentation/integration of existing and future subsystems as well as medical devices
Since there is no PDMS and anaesthesia planing/documentation system in the Hochsauerland hospital so far, a 1:1 replacement of previous functions is not required at the start date of real operation unless they are currently being mapped in other systems (e.g. medical information system). After production, a successive expansion of the solution is envisaged. The project plan is to be developed together with the provider, taking into account logistical and process-oriented needs and made part of the contract.
A provider is searched for who can fulfill the services required in the list of services. If this is not possible with their own software products, the provider is free to offer subsystems. In these cases, it must be ensured that a functioning, comprehensive and convenient (standard) interface exists or is created for these subsystems. This interface must be considered as a fixed price in the offer and must generally be disclosed. In addition, the provider is expected to provide comprehensive support to the client in future expansion of IT deployment. For more information, see the list of services.
The intended term of the contract is a minimum contract period of 60 months for maintenance and maintenance contract according to EVB IT care and EVB-IT maintenance, automatic. Extension by one year at a time with notice periods according to EVB IT care/maintenance.
