Tenders for:

Quality assurance of engineering design with emphasis on architectural design and detailing.

Utenriksdepartementet [the Ministry of Foreign Affairs] has given Statsbygg[the Directorate of Public Construction and Property] the task of preparing tender documents for the construction of the new Norwegian embassy site in Nairobi, Kenya. The site will contain offices for the embassy, three residences for delegates, recreation areas, guard house, technical spaces and parking for employees and visitors. The gross floor area for the new site is approx. 2 575 m2. Currently, funding has only been allocated for detailed design work until the contractor has obtained tender offers. Follow-up in the construction and warranty phase depends on our contracting authority deciding to proceed and the allocation of funds. For this reason, execution of the last named phases shall be options for The Directorate of Public Construction and Property.
