Development of an online tool for setting up scenarios for CO2 emissions in Danish municipalities.

The Parties of the Project, the State, KL and Danish Regions wish to develop a digital tool to support, facilitate and enhance the work of municipalities and regions to establish reality-related scenarios for CO2 emissions and other greenhouse gases, as part of work on climate plans and the objective of CO2 neutrality in 2050. The scenario tool should provide local councils with a realistic and visual picture of the effect of different actions in relation to reducing greenhouse gases. The tool shall constitute a superstructure to the Energy Board's Energy and CO2 accounts, a tool for energy and carbon mapping in municipalities and regions. It is important that the tool should be able to be used by all municipalities and regions.
