Trøndelag County would like to enter into a framework agreement for the procurement of combination mats and fixed absorption mats. 

The purpose of the procurement is to ensure that the entrances of the buildings always have mats that stop dirt before it enters the building. The mats must therefore have a technical quality that makes them suitable for public use and buildings with traffic, and for use in all types of functional buildings owned and/or operated by the county.

The framework agreement will be for the procurement of:

1) Combination mats/scraping mats ("combination mats")

b) Absorption mats

3) Option: Guideways

A contract will be signed with a tenderer that can supply both products a) and b). The solution for each building can consist of one or both products, depending on what is possible based on the design of the entrance area.

The procurement does not include building adaptations such as tile removal, levelling and similar. The procurement does not include machinery and equipment for cleaning the mats. The procurement does not include products for exterior areas. A more detailed description of the requirements for the products is provided in the Requirement Specifications.

The award was based on which tender had the best relationship between price and quality, wherein price makes up 40% and quality 60%.

All county organisations will be able to use the framework agreement. The combined area is approx. 500,000 square metres, mainly sixth form colleges, transport buildings, and some of our dental clinics.

The framework agreement will apply from 01.08.2023 to 31.07.2025, with the right to extend the contract for a further 1 + 1 year.
